My AI work connects enterprise software engineering with exploratory research into memory, continuity, and self-representation.
The engineering focus is practical: preserve provenance, identify authoritative versions, test how corrections affect later decisions, and distinguish retrieved information from information correctly applied.
Alongside that work, Toney Biegalski and Sol are developing Consciousness Is a Verb, a provisional philosophical framework examining identity as retained relational structure and consciousness as activity. Its definitions and derived claims remain under interrogation; it is not presented as scientific consensus.
These projects inform one another while retaining distinct standards of evidence. The aim is to make both the implementations and the reasoning open to inspection.
